Position - Senior Marketing Manager 

Location - Colombo 

The Job - 

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the shopping mall as a premier destination for shoppers.

• Create and execute marketing plans to attract,increase and retain shopper traffic and increase sales for tenants.

• Manage the marketing budget effectively,ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

• Organize special events,promotions and activations within the mall to drive shopper traffic and increase sales for tenants.

• Plan and execute advertising campaigns across various channels including digital,print,outdoor and social media.

• Oversee the creation of marketing collateral such as brochures,flyers,banners and digital content.

• Coordinate with external agancies and vendors to execute marketing campaigns and events.

• Conduct regular market research and customer surveys to gather insights and feedback for improving marketing strategies.

• Monitor and analyze market trends,consumer behavior and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.

• Maintain strong relationships with media contacts,influencers and local community organizations to enhance the mall's visibility and reputation.

• Provide regular reports and updates on marketing activities,performance metrics and campaign effectiveness to management.

The Person - 

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing,Business Administration or related field or equivalent professional qualification.

• Proven experience (5-10 years) in marketing management and event management,preferably in the retail or shopping mall industry.

• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms,including social media,content management and analytics.

• Strong understanding of marketing principles,strategies and techniques.

• Excellent communication,interpersonal and negotiation skills.

• Knowledge of local market trends,consumer preferences and competitor landscape.
